SMS is billed per 160-character segment (70 with emoji or non-Latin characters). 10DLC fees apply to local numbers only; toll-free verification is free. All prices in US dollars. Volume discounts from 50,000 messages a month: talk to us.
Smart Replies add-on (optional): AI-drafted replies in your inbox and automated answers to everyday questions. $19.00 per month plus $0.02 per automated reply on top of the message price; suggested replies you send yourself are included. Free trial of 14 days or 50 automated replies, whichever ends first; cancel any time.
* Number and carrier registration fees (in addition to your usage):
- Phone number: $2.00/month for a local number ($3.00/month for toll-free)
- 10DLC texting registration: $10.00/month per campaign (local numbers only; toll-free numbers do not need it)
- One-time 10DLC registration: $49.00 brand registration ($5.00 for sole proprietors) and $15.00 campaign vetting per submission. A campaign the carriers reject costs $15.00 again when you resubmit it
Those are the only charges beyond your usage. Texttive itself charges nothing monthly; toll-free numbers skip the 10DLC fees entirely.

How the wallet works
Start with a $100 top-up, which covers registration, your first number and about 2,000 texts, then add any amount from $25. Each message is charged when it is sent; anything that fails before reaching a carrier is refunded automatically. Numbers and campaigns renew monthly from the wallet.
Payments and security
Card payments are processed by Stripe; card numbers never touch our servers. Every charge appears in a ledger you can export. Prices are in US dollars.
Refunds and cancellation
Cancel any time by releasing your numbers; there is no contract. Unused wallet funds are refundable on request within 30 days of the top-up. Full details in the refund policy.
